Production Operatives (Days), Haverfordwest, £9 per hour

Overview

We are currently recruiting Production Operatives for a meat manufacturer who are based in Haverfordwest.

The Role

• Working in an Abattoir environment where.
• This work varies but would generally include basic production duties ensuring limited damage/waste and contamination.
• Working at pace and working as a team to achieve production targets on a daily basis.
• Your role may also include packing and distribution of the meat product.
• Maintaining a high level of health & safety, hygiene and food quality standards.
• You will have the opportunity of developing your skills and your career prospects

The Person

• Experience of working to set standards and KPIs
• Good standards in English and Math’s
• Experience of working in a production environment
• Experience of food safety / Level 2 food safety certificate
• Have a can do attitude; will have try to learn other tasks in the department if required
• Promote good team work – help others.
• Have a desire to help the team meet the department targets
• Undertake any training made available/organised
